Hey hey 👋 Reza here!
I know you usually expect this letter on Thursdays, but I’m reaching out early to share two updates in advance of the next issue—one about the name of this newsletter and the other about an exciting platform change.
After 111 issues and nearly five years since this newsletter began in May 2020, I’ve decided it’s time for a small evolution—a name that better reflects where this publication is today and where it’s heading. Out of Curiosity captured the spirit of how it all began: a desire to explore the world through questions and curiosity. But over the years, this newsletter has become more—it’s about sharing ideas that provoke thought, inspire action, and create meaningful progress.
That’s why I’m renaming the newsletter to Open Loops.
The concept of "open loops" ties directly to how we think and grow: they’re unanswered questions and intriguing ideas that keep us curious and engaged. This new name reflects what this newsletter has always been about—helping you think, grow, and move forward—and where it’s heading into the future: deeper exploration of unconventional ideas, fresh perspectives to challenge your thinking, and actionable insights to help you keep building momentum.
The second update is that this publication is moving from Substack to beehiiv.
beehiiv offers new tools and features that will make it easier to deliver a better experience for you as readers. From a cleaner design to better ways of curating and sharing content, this move will also make it easier to promote the newsletter to more relevant readers and curious minds—helping grow a community of people who share similar passions.
These changes—the new name and platform—give the newsletter room to evolve while staying true to its mission: to deliver curated insights that challenge your thinking and help you see the world a little differently.
For those of you who’ve been been sticking around since day one, or joined more recently, I’m grateful for your attention; I never take it for granted! I’d love to hear your thoughts. Reply to this email and let me know what’s working, what could be better, or what you’d like to see more of in future issues. Your feedback will help shape what’s next.
That said, if this newsletter no longer aligns with your interests, feel free to unsubscribe.
Thanks, as always, for being here over these past 111 issues. I’m grateful for y’all and excited for what’s ahead.
Till next time,
Reza
